A delightful example of Southern Italian folk pottery, this hand-thrown bowl from Puglia dates to the late 19th century and is adorned with a whimsical painted motif of birds and foliage in green, blue, and umber tones. The glaze has developed a soft crackle and gentle sheen over time, lending the surface a beautiful, timeworn quality. Traditionally used for serving or mixing, it now makes a striking decorative statement—brimming with rustic charm and regional character.
